As I'm sure you're aware, it was extremely hot here in Seattle this past weekend. Apparently if you are a kitty the best way to stay cool is to make yourself as long as possible.


It also helps if you spread your paws as wide as possible.

Perhaps if he moved off the wool rug it wouldn't be so hot. But I didn't mention that to him. Poor sad hot kitty.

Cleo and Scraps were lying on the rug too, rather than the nice cool floors, Scraps was even panting when she was outside. I tried to put an ice cube on Cleo's belly, that wasn't a good plan.
