This year I was the Team Captain for the Expedia CANstruction 2011 challenge. Our team (Egencia) raised over $3,500 for Hopelink and built Big Ben out of cans. We didn't win any awards this year but we had a great time participating. I love seeing what everyone builds each year. Many creative minds reside in the Expedia family.

The Wenatchee Crew's Weekend in Seattle
A couple of weeks ago my parents and some of their friends visited for a fun filled weekend in Seattle. We had such a great time. I'm so lucky to have such a great relationship with my parents and that their friends are so supportive (my extended family). What a great group of folks!
We started with a Friday night dinner/show at Teatro ZinZanni (Hail Caesar!). Caesar even visited us for a group photo!
Saturday the Wenatchee crew explored downtown Seattle (Pike Place, etc.), apparently eating their way through the city.
Saturday night we all met back up and took an Argosy Cruise out to Blake Island to take in the new Tillicum Village Show. Chris was able to show off all of the hard work he and the Argosy team have been doing at the island. The dinner was fantastic (love the new menu items) and the new show is great. I really enjoyed the added cruise director narration on the way to the island. I always seem to learn something new.
Can't wait for the Wenatchee crew to visit again!
My mom is so beautiful.
Good times.

Apple Skillz
Chris: "Did you prune the apple tree?"
Me: "No, why would you ask that??"
Chris: "You're from Wenatchee, seemed like something you'd know how to do."
