Fire Good!

I love to build fires and watch them burn. They mesmerize me. Luckily I know to keep it controlled have yet to burn down a building (yet...). On Sunday at the Anderson Island cabin I was tasked with burning a GIGANTIC pile of dead limbs from the apple trees. They were pretty wet so I had to get the fire nice and hot before proceeding with the limbs. Chris helped in the beginning by throwing an oil soaked paper towel on the fire (he was cleaning out the shed). Here is a picture of the beginnings of the fire and the limb pile to the right.



Here is the end result after the pile was gone.
