For Christmas this past year Chris gave me some Potato Sacks. Double layer felt sacks in which to grow potatoes. So, at the Northwest Flower and Garden Show this year I picked up some heirloom seed potatoes from Irish Eyes. I picked up some German Butterball and Red Norland seed potatoes. A few weeks ago I had the chance to plant them and lo and behold they actually sprouted!

This is very exciting! I've always wanted to grow potatoes! I can't wait to hear how they turn out and taste!
