Did you know that they make flesh colored tape? I had no idea until yesterday.
Yesterday I was a guest speaker at a Salesforce event for their new Chatter collaboration solution. I've been a speaker for them before but I have always used a lapel or hand held mic. But yesterday when I showed up they wanted to fit me with an over the ear microphone.
As the production staff was getting me fitted with my mic a gentleman came up with a roll of flesh colored tape. He said he would attach it on the side of my cheek, and then he said "Just Like The Professionals".
So here I am, just like a Professional (Thanks to my AE Tom for snapping this photo).

Emma "The Bully"
Emma lives up the street from our house. Emma is a happy, playful, dopey yellow lab. Emma likes to escape from her yard and often we find her and return her home.
Last week I was walking Jet across the street from Emma's house when leash free happy go lucky Emma runs up. Now, Jet and Emma are friends, but poor little Jetty is about 1/5th her size. Emma started bouncing all around, hopping up and down, trying to get Jet to play, and she accidentally knocked him over. There was yelping and Jet was a bit freaked out. The noise alerted Emma's Dad and he ran over and grabbed her and took her home.
Jet, a bit frazzled, followed me home keeping a wary eye out for Emma.
Last night, after we'd returned home from dinner, our doorbell rang. Emma's two sisters (super cute little girls) were at our door with a Valentine gift for Jet from Emma. A little bag of heart shaped dog treats. And attached to the bag was the following note:

A Month!!
Oh my gosh.
It has been a month since I posted on my blog. A month. And honestly, I don't have much to post other than "A MONTH"!
But here are some bullets about what has been going on in the past MONTH:
It has been a month since I posted on my blog. A month. And honestly, I don't have much to post other than "A MONTH"!
But here are some bullets about what has been going on in the past MONTH:
- I went to a week long conference for work and ran the projector. Go me.
- I was awarded a President's Club trip to Maui, Hawaii. Yahoo!!
- Chris dug up some lawn in our backyard. Now it is mud. Turns out that Jet loves mud.
- I finished our taxes. Hurray for the energy tax credit.
- A coworker and her baby girl passed away. Much sadness around the office.
- We went to the Fly Fishing Film Tour with Angie and Brandon. We didn't win any goodies but we each got a nice yellow hat.
- I've become addicted to Vampire Romance Novels thanks to Jenn.
- Chris gave me a Le Creuset French Oven for Valentine's day. I can't wait for him to cook for me with it.
- Chris got a Kindle. I now want a Kindle. I might just snag his while he isn't looking.
- My parents are traveling the Southwest and keep calling with stories of sun, and pools, and good friends. I'm happy for them, but oh so very jealous.
- Percy decided he's too big to fit in the litter box so he just goes in front of it. Boy that has been fun. Try googleing BIGGEST LITTER BOX EVER and notice how few options there really are.
- It is spring in Seattle already and I haven't skied once yet this year.
